The aim of the Master in Architettura e Salute (post-graduate course in architecture and health) is to stimulate reflection on themes relating to the design, construction and management of the healthcare facility of the future, and of a city that promotes the wellbeing of its residents.

A post-graduate programme

Now in its second edition, the post-graduate programme of the University Iuav of Venice will start in January 2025 with the aim of specialising architects and engineers in the design, construction and management of hospitals and social-healthcare facilities, with a focus on the city and its urban spaces with therapeutic qualities. The courses will be held by Iuav professors and external professionals in collaboration with Ulss3 Serenissima, Veneta Sanitaria Finanza di Progetto and specialised companies. In addition to classroom teaching, they will include targeted visits, meetings with qualified experts and lessons from internationally renowned architects and doctors. A summer workshop in partnership with foreign universities and companies operating in the sector and the internship carried out in the fall at healthcare companies and private practices will complete the training path.
